By booking a service, the client acknowledges that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

The itinerary is a personalized recommendation document.

The client remains solely responsible for making their own bookings and travel decisions.

3.2 Local Friend Support

This service provides personalized support before and/or during the client's stay.

It may include:

• Local advice
• Recommendations
• Practical information
• Help understanding local customs and logistics

This service does not include emergency assistance, professional concierge services, booking management, or 24/7 availability.

4. Local Experiences

Your Friend in Provence by Maison Pépouze offers authentic experiences designed to help travelers connect with Marseille and Provence through a local perspective.

Experiences may include:

• Discovering neighborhoods
• Learning local stories
• Cultural exchanges
• Meeting locals
• Sharing moments in a local environment

These experiences are based on authenticity, connection, and cultural discovery.

5. Pépouze Evening – A Local Home Experience

Pépouze Evening is a private cultural experience hosted in a local home in Marseille.

The experience may include:

• A welcome into a private residence
• A homemade Provençal meal
• Conversations about local life, traditions, food, and culture
• Storytelling and cultural exchange

The meal is part of the cultural experience and is not the primary purpose of the service.

Guests agree to respect the private environment, the host, and local customs throughout the experience.

Guests must inform Your Friend in Provence by Maison Pépouze in advance of any allergies, intolerances, dietary restrictions, or other relevant health considerations.

6. Third-Party Recommendations

We may recommend local businesses and independent professionals, including:

• Restaurants
• Accommodation providers
• Activity providers
• Artisans
• Transportation services

These recommendations are provided based on local knowledge and personal experience.

The client remains responsible for selecting, booking, and paying for all third-party services directly.

Your Friend in Provence by Maison Pépouze is not responsible for the services, availability, pricing, cancellations, or actions of independent third-party providers.

7. Booking and Payment

A booking is confirmed once:

• Availability has been confirmed
• The client has accepted these Terms and Conditions
• Payment has been received according to the agreed conditions

We reserve the right to decline requests that are incompatible with the nature of our services or experiences.

8. Pricing

Prices are communicated before booking.

All prices are displayed in euros (€) unless otherwise stated.

Payment conditions are specified at the time of booking.

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Because our services involve personalized preparation and creative work, the following cancellation policy applies unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• More than 7 days before the scheduled service: full refund
• Between 7 days and 48 hours before the scheduled service: 50% refund
• Less than 48 hours before the scheduled service: no refund

For personalized itineraries and travel plans, once preparation work has begun, the corresponding work already completed may become non-refundable.

10. Client Responsibility

The client is responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information
• Making their own travel decisions
• Booking third-party services directly
• Respecting local laws and customs
• Following reasonable safety recommendations

11. Health and Dietary Information

Clients must inform Your Friend in Provence by Maison Pépouze of any relevant information, including:

• Severe allergies
• Dietary restrictions
• Mobility limitations
• Specific accessibility or health needs

Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate such information whenever possible.

12. Intellectual Property

All itineraries, documents, recommendations, photographs, and other materials created by Your Friend in Provence by Maison Pépouze remain our intellectual property.

They are provided for the client's personal use only.

Any commercial reproduction, redistribution, or resale is prohibited without prior written authorization.

13. Photography and Image Rights

During certain experiences, photographs may be taken.

Images will only be used for promotional or communication purposes with the client's prior consent.

14. Personal Data

Personal information is collected and processed solely for the purpose of providing our services, communicating with clients, and managing bookings.

Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable French and European data protection regulations (including the GDPR).

15. Liability

We have an obligation of reasonable care but cannot guarantee specific travel outcomes or experiences.

• Cancellations or changes by third-party providers
• Accidents occurring during independently booked activities
• Events beyond our reasonable control

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.

Any dispute relating to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
